Together with our Board of Directors, the executive team helps guide Survey Association’s strategic direction, technical standards, and continued development across global marine operations.
Nabil Attia has more than 20 years of experience in the global shipping industry, primarily with Maersk, where he held several senior commercial leadership roles and managed business units across the sector.
He has extensive experience leading complex international projects, with a strong focus on operational performance, strategic growth, and cargo operations. Nabil’s broad industry knowledge and commercial expertise make him a trusted leader in managing large-scale initiatives across global shipping and logistics operations.
Søren Pedersen has more than 40 years of experience in the shipping and energy industries, with broad operational and technical expertise across vessel operations, MODUs, DP systems, and marine warranty surveying.
His experience covers all major MWS disciplines, including cable laying, offshore wind turbine installation, foundations, and substations. Søren is also an experienced Lead Auditor and Towmaster.
Prior to joining Survey Association, he held roles including Superintendent at Wonsild & Son, Barge Engineer, Offshore Installation Manager (OIM), QMHSSE Manager, and Lead Investigator at Maersk Drilling.
Henrik Uth has more than 30 years of experience in the shipping and transport industry, with extensive expertise in vessel operations, ship management, and ownership across the container, offshore support, and port towage sectors.
Prior to joining Survey Association, Henrik held several international leadership positions, including Liner Operations Director for Maersk Line in the Eastern Mediterranean, Managing Director of Maersk Shipping Hong Kong, founder and CEO of Mari-Time, and Managing Director of Nakilat SvitzerWijsmuller in Qatar.
