Flemming Sørensen – Marine Engineer, Senior Surveyor. Flemming has a long-standing record in the marine engineering industry. He started off his maritime career sailing and ended his seagoing career as Chief Engineer on the huge shrimp trawlers in the North Atlantic. He then held different managerial positions in the engineering repair industry and was, before he joined Survey Association, surveyor with Bureau Veritas.
Michael Skipper – Marine Engineer, Senior Surveyor. Michael is a very experienced surveyor and marine engineer who recently has been ‘Head of Survey and Risk Engineering’ with ‘Orca Insurance Agency A/S’ and ‘Lavaretus Risk Engineering’ in Scandinavia, previously he was employed by Survey Association and Tryg Vesta as Underwriting Chief Staff Surveyor and Head of Marine Operation & Survey. He started his career as seagoing marine engineer where he ended up as chief engineer on large oil tankers and had also a period as rig engineer on drilling platforms. Before turning to the surveying industry Michael has held managerial position in the shipping, yard and marine engineering industry.
Anne Ydemann Hansen – Master mariner and marine engineer, operations manager.
Anne has been surveyor with the Danish Maritime Authorities for the last 6 years, where she has gained a comprehensive insight in International and National maritime regulation. She has held coordination function within the DMA as well as she has surveyed vessels herself. Anne will be coordination the daily business at the office and be in control of the QA on reporting etc.
