Denmark-based Survey Association of 1914 has joined forces with Singapore-based Techwise Offshore Consultancy Pte. Ltd. to deliver Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) services to the Vietnamese offshore wind market.
The alliance brings together the two companies’ extensive marine operations experience to support the safe delivery of offshore wind farm construction projects in Vietnam through effective risk management and independent technical oversight.
Survey Association has been active in the offshore wind industry since the 1990s, acting as Marine Warranty Surveyor on numerous offshore wind projects across Europe and Japan.
Henrik Uth, CEO of Survey Association, said:
We look forward to sharing the experience and knowledge we have built across the European and Japanese offshore wind sectors to support the continued development of the Vietnamese market and help it realise its full potential.
As Marine Warranty Surveyors, the alliance will work closely with project stakeholders to help ensure offshore wind developments follow recognised industry practice while reducing project risks to an acceptable level.
