Survey Association has established a new office in Gdynia, Poland, strengthening its Marine Consultancy and Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) services in the growing Polish offshore wind market. The office will be led by Capt. Paweł Sztorch and Capt. Peter Jermakow.
Survey Association has supported offshore wind developments since the 1990s, acting as Marine Warranty Surveyor on numerous projects across Europe, including the Veja Mate Offshore Wind Farm.
Commenting on the expansion, Paweł Sztorch, General Manager of Survey Association Poland, said:
The Polish offshore wind market is still in its early stages and we want to be present with strong local surveyors to support the industry.

Earlier this year, the Polish Parliament adopted the Polish Offshore Wind Act, paving the way to develop offshore wind in the Baltic Sea. Poland has set a target of installing 4 GW of offshore wind capacity by 2030.
