As a globally operating marine surveying company we are very aware of the support we need to provide to our clients during these unprecedented circumstances. Survey Association is now operating in accordance with our Business Continuity & Interruption plans. This will allow our operations to continue at our local staff representations in Copenhagen, Esbjerg and Singapore.
Below are some of the key components from our Business Continuity & Interruption plans, which will allow us to continue operating:
- Remote work capabilities - Preparedness for alternative office working arrangements consisting of long-term remote work capabilities during self-isolation and/or Government mandated quarantine.
- Remote surveys - Readiness of Athena Surveys - our remote self-survey App, which will enable the vessels to submit First notification of claims or condition surveys, for deployment to areas where no surveyors can travel and our surveyors can perform desktop surveys from home/office.
- Local surveyors – Survey Association will make use of SYVR™ to identify and subcontract local qualified surveyors in countries/locations which are not permitted to travel to/enter.
