We are pleased to welcome Sandro Vuylsteke to the Board of Directors.
Sandro brings extensive experience within marine insurance, claims, and risk management, with a particular depth in cargo claims and global claims handling. He previously served as Head of Claims at A.P. Moller - Maersk and held senior roles at Skuld, including Vice President and Head of Claims, where he was closely involved in complex casualties, P&I matters, and international claims handling.
His insight into cargo claims and the broader claims ecosystem is highly relevant to Survey Association’s continued development—particularly within cargo surveys and incident management, where increasing complexity, scale, and documentation requirements are reshaping client expectations.
As cargo risk, claims handling, and data-driven survey solutions become more critical for operators and insurers alike, Sandro adds a strong and relevant dimension to our strategic direction.
